Palace on Wheels is a luxury train that exudes old-world charm. The train runs primarily in Rajasthan, spoiling the passengers with impeccable services. Now, after 42 years of going through the same route, Palace on Wheels will be taking its passengers to the holy cities of Ayodhya, Mathura, and Kashi from May.
The second-most luxurious train in the world will begin the journey from Delhi and go across Ayodhya, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Mathura, and Vrindavan. While the Palace On Wheels trains normally have alcoholic beverages and non-vegetarian food, the trains going to the above destinations won’t serve them. Along with it, garlic and onion will also be excluded from the dishes.
Traveling in Palace on Wheels means experiencing top-tier facilities, iconic Indian hospitality, and luxurious cabins. The train has two restaurants, a lounge bar, and a spa! You’ll even be assigned a personal butler who will make sure you have an exemplary stay. The pricing for the Rajasthan Palace on Wheels starts from INR 49,520 and goes up to INR INR 1,99,600 per night, but for the new routes, the prices may be a little lower to accommodate domestic passengers.
