This off-season rise in bookings has been observed mainly because of the toxic smog and pollution in Delhi, NCR, which is increasingly the cause of several respiratory issues. Locals claim that escaping the city post-Diwali seems to be the only solution to protect their health.
With a large number of people traveling to escape the airpocalypse, experts in the tourism industry have observed escape travel to be the new trend this year. The demand for accommodation in places close to NCR has been continuously increasing because of the sudden last-minute travel.
