India’s First Elevated 8-Lane Highway Inaugurated In Dwarka, Delhi

To improve connectivity in Delhi and the surrounding cities, PM Narendra Modi has inaugurated the Dwarka Express Highway on NH 48. What’s particularly notable about this highway is that it’s India’s first-ever elevated 8-lane highway. The Dwarka Express Highway is said to be able to ease heavy traffic between Delhi and Gurugram, reducing the travel time to 20 minutes.

The Express Highway is 29 km long with underpasses, tunnels, flyovers, and elevated structures to ensure smooth traveling. Apart from Delhi and Gurugam, 18.9 km of the express highway lies in Haryana, making traveling a lot more convenient. So, if you’re planning a road trip between these destinations, you won’t have to worry about being stuck in traffic for too long anymore!
