Hyderabad Is Set To Host The Yoga Mahotsav On May 27

Hyderabad is getting ready to host the Yoga Mahotsav on May 27, according to recent news. The event is expected to attract over 20,000 yoga enthusiasts, including sportspeople, celebrities, and government officials from the state and central levels.

The Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY), which operates under the Ministry of Ayush, will organize the Yoga Mahotsav at Parade Ground. Union Tourism and Culture Minister G Kishan Reddy mentioned that a series of events has been planned leading up to the International Day of Yoga on June 21. These events aim to encourage individuals to embrace yoga in their personal lives and to showcase the cultural heritage of yoga to the world.

Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, and Finance and Health Minister T Harish Rao are among the esteemed figures expected to participate. Several other ministers, including Sarbananda Sonowal and Anurag Singh Thakur, are also likely to join.

Preparations for the grand event are currently underway, and it is expected to attract visitors from all corners of the country. Minister Kishan Reddy emphasized the significance of yoga during a press conference and urged individuals from all walks of life for their participation.
