Bhopal’s Raja Bhoj Airport Is All Prepared To Go Eco-Friendly

To lower the dependence on fossil fuels, the Airport Authority of India (AAI) plans to introduce electric vehicles at Bhopal’s Raja Bhoj Airport. Furthermore, the airport director of Bhopal, Ram Jee Awasthi, stated that all vehicles will be replaced with EVs by 2024. The AAI also intends to set up charging stations with high voltage and fast-charging capabilities at important locations to meet the needs of electric vehicles. Also, the director mentioned the upcoming parking policy with EV charging stations at the airport.

Currently, Bhopal's Raja Bhoj airport has made impressive strides in achieving zero carbon emissions. It has been awarded Level 2+ Carbon Accreditation by the Airports Council International (ACI). Moreover, many airports in India are making more strides to be sustainable by using renewable energy resources.
